She was predeceased by: her parents, Garnett Pauline Keller and Harlon Nor "Jumbo" Matheny; her husband Lawrence Whitecotton; and her siblings, Francis Seevers and Jim Matheny.
She is survived by: her children, Rodney Matheny (Grace) of Romney, WV and Elaine Nichols (Mike) of Williamstown; her granddaughters, Beth Harris of Williamstown, Rachael Nichols of Holden, LA and Tawny Haines of Romney, WV; her pets, Oscar and Tink; and her sister-in-law Julia Matheny. She is also survived by two great-granddaughters; two step-granddaughters; one step-great-granddaughter.
