He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward E. Allman and Eileen Jean Allman (Buffington); and his brother Joe Hurst. He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Buffington; his son Chad Buffington (Nikki); his siblings, Mari Miller (Donnie), Crystal Buck (Larry) and Perry Buffington (Mandy); and his grandchildren, Harley and Wyatt Bennett. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
