He was predeceased by: his parents, John Chapman and Ruby Chapman. He is survived by: his children, Amanda Wigal (Jarrod) of Belleville, WV and Adam Chapman (Erin) of Lubeck, WV; and his grandchildren, Baileigh Cogar (Jared), Brennen Lewis, Logan Chapman, Brayden Chapman, Grace Wigal and Paige Wigal.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Vaughan Kimes Funeral Home (521 Fifth St, Parkersburg, WV 26101). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his honor are requested to the Lubeck Volunteer Fire Department, 1340 Harris Hwy, Parkersburg, WV 26101.
