He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest D. Francis and Violet Smith Francis; his wife Sara Elizabeth Blankenship Francis; his son William Denver "Billy" Francis; and his siblings, Ernest Clayton "Clay" Francis and Susie Smith.
He is survived by: his sons, Larry Lemon (M. J.) of Vienna and Bryan Lemon (Sabrina May) of Ravenswood; and his siblings, Charles Francis (Christy) of Mt. Alta, WV, Frank Francis of Parkersburg, Barbara Bell (Bob) of Belleville, Jim Francis (Karen) of Parkersburg and Letha Sams of Belpre. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Leavitt Funeral Services and Crematory - Parkersburg (403 7th St, Parkersburg, WV 26101). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
