He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest D. Francis and Violet Smith Francis; his wife Sara Elizabeth Blankenship Francis; his son William Denver "Billy" Francis; and his siblings, Ernest Clayton "Clay" Francis and Susie Smith.
He is survived by: his sons, Larry Lemon (M. J.) of Vienna and Bryan Lemon (Sabrina May) of Ravenswood; and his siblings, Charles Francis (Christy) of Mt. Alta, WV, Frank Francis of Parkersburg, Barbara Bell (Bob) of Belleville, Jim Francis (Karen) of Parkersburg and Letha Sams of Belpre. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
