We bid farewell to Daniel Barnes Mowery Sr. of Washington, West Virginia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 26, 2024 at the age of 82. Daniel Barnes touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by : his parents, Claude Asa Mowery and Roxie Irene Mowery (Cochran); his wife Karen Mowery; and his siblings, Robert Mowery, Earl "Gib" Mowery, Kate Mowery and Claudia Mowery.

He is survived by : his sons, Daniel Barnes Mowery Jr. of Parkersburg, WV, Timothy Wayne Mowery of Parkersburg, WV and Steven; and his siblings, Charles Mowery of Parkesburg, WV, Judy Life of Parkersburg and Jan Powell of Parkersburg. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Leavitt Funeral Services and Crematory - Parkersburg (403 7th St, Parkersburg, WV 26101). A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
