He is survived by: his wife Karon Carpenter Hart; his children, Vickie Sampson (Michael) of Rockport, WV and Kevin Hart (Susan) of Washington, WV.; his grandchildren, Justin Sampson (Jessie), Devin Sampson, Toby, Carly and Shelby Hart; and his great grandchild Weston Sampson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
