We are sad to announce that on June 4, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Ruth E. Oates of Wardensville, West Virginia, born in Coatesville, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William H. Willard and Bertha Killinger Willard Sizemore; her husband James F. Oates; her daughter Debra A. Oates; her granddaughter Natasha Scott; and her siblings, Edwin Willard and Priscilla Willard.

She is survived by: her children, Jimmy E. Oates (Regina) of Martinsburg, WV, Joseph Oates (Jenna) of Cross Junction, VA and Brenda Scott (William) of Wardensville, WV; and her siblings, William Willard, Barbara Fahy of Ridley Park, PA and Sally Bowman of Kennett Square, PA. She is also survived by three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.

Memorial contributions can be made on Ruth's behalf to either the Mathias-Baker Fire Department, P.O. Box 59, Mathias, WV 26812 or Wardensville Vol.
