He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Garrett and Nellie Sine Garrett; and his brother Clinton E. Garrett. He is survived by: his wife Delores Custer Garrett; his children, Michael E. Garrett of Middletown, VA, Renee E. Mahon (Martin) of Harrisonburg, VA and Jennifer L. Combs of Toms Brook, VA; and his grandchildren, Michael Garrett, Jr., Trenton Garrett, George Pesce, Jessica Jennings, Rollin Pesce and Hannah Combs.
