He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip R. Whiteman and Carrie Shoemaker Whiteman; his wife Madeline Dolly; and his siblings, Charles, Marvin, Gene, Lloyd Whiteman and Irene Dolly.
He is survived by: his children, Glenn A. Whiteman of Baltimore, MD, John R. "Bobby" Dolly, Sr. (Cindy) of Wardensville, WV, Paula Kauders (Lud) of White Marsh, MD and Linda Feehley (Cliff) of Wardensville, WV; and his sisters, Norma Westfall of Upper Tract, WV and Juanita Wratchford of Aberdeen, MD. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
