It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James H. Barney (Wardensville, West Virginia), who passed away on April 25, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles H. Barney and Jean Merriman Barney. He is survived by: his children, Mark D. Barney (Donna) of Wardensville, WV, Michael A. Barney (Crystal) of Baker, WV and Rebecca "Becky" S. Hall (Randy) of Staunton, VA; his siblings, William A. "Billy" Barney (Pam) of Wardensville and Connie Combs; his grandchildren, John, Stephen, Brittany Barney and Miranda Stroemple; and his great grandchildren, Addie and Jameson.
To follow government regulations surrounding COVID-19, we'll be limiting the number of individuals gathering in any given room to ten (10) at a time and request all attending to maintain social distancing of six (6) feet. A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 1, 2020 at 1:30 PM at the Greenfield Cemetery near Wardensville, WV, but we ask that you maintain a six-foot distance in order to comply with COVID-19 regulations.
