She was predeceased by: her parent Edward Wilson; her daughter Nancy Byrd Dorman; her grandchild Andy Bell; and her sisters, Mabel Rudolph, Nellie Miller, Mazie Combs, Madge Western, Lucille Sanders and Virginia Vance.
She is survived by: her parent Nora Orndorff Wilson; her spouse William P. Byrd; and her children, Geoffrey S. Byrd (Penny) of Hertford, NC, John P. Byrd (Joann) of Wardensville, WV, Susan Dawson (David) of Afton, NY and Bette L. Bell of Beverly, MA.
