It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jason Samuel Hockett of War, West Virginia, born in Tazewell, Virginia, who passed away on September 13, 2022, at the age of 42, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Jo Ann Handshoe Hockett; his grandparents, Mary, Gold Handshoe, Marcie Silcox, Georgie and Keti Hockett; and his uncle Shorty.
He is survived by: his father Howard Samuel Hockett of War; his siblings, Justin Hockett of Bristol, VA and Jessica; his sister-in-law Jamie Carignan of Bristol, VA; his sister Tanya; and his brother-in-law Steven Wilkey of Detroit, MI.
