She was predeceased by: her parents, Oley Hively and Matilda Moore Hively; her husband Shirkey Paxton, Sr.; her grandson Joey Daniel Starcher; her half-brother Herby Nelson Harper; and her brother Denver Wayne Hively.
She is survived by: her children, Peggy Starcher (Danny) of Walton, Tresea Seabolt (James) of Newton Falls, Shirkey Paxton (Peggy) and Valarie Parker (Coy Garris) of Powhatan; her sisters, Pauline Taylor of Charleston and Irene Gae Patrick of Walton; and her grandchildren, Joshua Starcher, Cassie Mitchell, Jamie Aaron Seabolt, Jeremy Seabolt, Jason Paxton, Zachary Norman, Cara Justine Longest and Emily Parker. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren and one step great grandchild.
