She was predeceased by: her parent Harley Howard; her husband Carl Harper; her grandson Christopher Charles Harper; and her siblings, Marjorie Oleta Harris, Irene Elizabeth Jarvis, Gweldalene Meredith Jessie, Elmer Lee Harris and Delmer Leon Harris.
She is survived by: her parent Susan Arilla Anderson Harris; her sons, Jerry Harper of Dublin and Gary Harper of Walton; and her sisters, Loretta Dodd of Ravenswood and Marlene Neal of Port St. She is also survived by six grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
