She was predeceased by: her father Ronald Jeffrey Purkey; and her brother-in-law Brian Mahaney. She is survived by: her mother Loretta Carol Swisher Purkey; her husband Roderick Nile Swiger; her sons, Matthew Brian Purkey (Marianne) of Huntington, Roderick Keith Swiger (Dana Moore) of Huntington, Lucas James Purkey of Huntington and Joseph Dale Purkey of Huntington; her grandchildren, Gabriella Renee Purkey, Kenlee Jo Purkey, Sabastian Purkey, Colton Purkey, Maleana Purkey and Johanna Purkey; her siblings, Angela Purkey Mahaney, Todd Purkey, Monica Lacher, Salem and Ronald Purkey, Jr.; and her stepsiblings, Richard Boyce, Jr., Tammy Boyce, Dennis Boyce and Kenny Boyce. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Harrison County Humane Society.
