He was predeceased by: his parents, Oris W. "Jake" and Mabel Fleming (Ashcraft); and his siblings, Vaughn, Larry Fleming, Jewell Fleming, Bernice Adams and Marie White.
He is survived by: his wife Joann Fleming (Goldsmith); his son Fritz Benker (Erika); his granddaughters, Tina of Germany and Jasmine of Germany; his sisters, Doris Jean Goshen of Waldorf, MD and Ruth Chase of Suitland, MD; and his sisters-in-law, Helen Anderson (Jim) of Burgettstown, PA and Florence Fleming of Mt. Claire, WV. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
