She was predeceased by: her parents, James "Andy" Andrew and Myrtle Bennett Ketterman; her former husband James E Messenger Jr.; and her siblings, Frank Bolyard, Jacob Ketterman, James Ketterman and Talma Ketterman Isner.
She is survived by: her husband James Rodney Butler; her children, Edward Messenger (Sharon), Lana Kantes (Robert), Tina DeVaughn (Thomas, Sr.), Gloria Fletcher (Jeffrey) and James Messenger (Deanna); her stepchildren, Amanda Kaye Dolan of Moundsville and Lee Ann Monk of Moundsville; and her sister Mae Ketterman Huffman. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren.
Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Drive Clarksburg, WV 26301 on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 from 3 to 7 PM and at Bolyard Funeral Home 79 Morgantown Ave, Newburg, WV 26410 on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 from 9 AM until time of Funeral Service at 1:00PM with Rev Leroy Haught officiating with proper distancing and face mask required.
