He was predeceased by: his parent Charles M. Riser; his wife Bonnie Hitt Riser; and his siblings, Earl, George, Marl, Walter, Melvin, Oakey Riser, Rosie Cantwell, Martha Morrison, Nata Carr, Lola Harris and Mary Coss.
He is survived by: his parent Ida May Riser; his children, Rodney Riser of Parkersburg, Bonita Breitmeier of Monterville, WV, Sandy Boyles of Fort Mills, SC, Lisa Hartley of Parkersburg and Christina Townsend of Walker; and his sister Jane Tonkington. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; many great grandchildren.
