He was predeceased by: his parents, Short Moreland and Lulu Marshall Moreland; his wife Barbara June Moreland; his daughter Brenda Lee Barr; his siblings, Herman Moreland, Mary Louise Young and Jeannie Dye; and his great great grandchild Kalum Butcher.
He is survived by: his children, Beverly Law of Parkersburg, Russ Moreland (Julia) of Parkersburg and Ron Moreland (Karen) of Mineral Wells. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
