He was predeceased by: his brothers, Everett Modesitt and James Modesitt; and his former wife Anita Modesitt (Lorraine). He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Dale Lee of Walker, Tom (Judy) of Walker, Ron (Vicki) of Walker, Janet (Tom) of Davisville, Joseph, Danny of Parkersburg, Mike of Elizabeth, Cynthia Gumm and Mercedes of Fort Myers, FL; and his siblings, Lulubelle Robinson, Carl Modesitt and Harold Modesitt. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; numerous great and great great grandchildren.
