It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Ronald Boyd of Vienna, West Virginia, born in Martins Ferry, Ohio, who passed away on May 18, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thompson Boyd, Sr. and Emma Boyd; his siblings, Robert Bruce Boyd, Dorothy Boyd Ringel and John Thompson Boyd Jr.; and his nephews, David Ringel and Robby Boyd.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Boyd; his children, Patty Adams (Iwalani) of Vienna, WV, Michael, Libbie Mayhew of Huntersville, NC and Mark Mayhew of Knoxville, TN; his grandchildren, Joshua, Cassandra Adams, Jessica Mayhew, Lauren Mayhew and Kristen Mayhew; and his nieces and nephews, Debra Henderson, Diane Pieringer, Brenda Boyd, John Boyd (JT), Mary Anne Boyd, Henry Ringel, Richard Ringel, Steve Ringel, Kathleen Zinnecker Nelson, Thomas Ringel and Bonnie Yoho.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital on Bill's behalf.
