He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Schindler and Grace Schindler; his former wife Phyllis Schindler; and his brother Robert Schindler. He is survived by: his wife Janet Lee Schindler; his children, Dana Schindler, Kris Schindler, Arin Winfrey (Douglas) and Eric Schindler; his stepchildren, Kelly Rush (Pat) and Scott Shreves (Kim); his brother Tom Schindler (Judy); his grandchildren, William Schindler, Kim Schindler, Ashley Schindler (Tyler Baggott) and Jennifer Davis (Kerry); his stepgrandchildren, Kyle, Sam and Aiden Shreves; and his great grandchildren, Dylan Rittenhouse and Ryan Davis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
