He was predeceased by: his parents, Hartsell Jarvis and Avenell Kesterson Jarvis; his siblings, Gary, Jack, Alan and Linda; his mother-in-law Margie McVey; and his brothers-in-law, Brad Smith and Sam Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife Janet McVey Jarvis; his daughter Stephanie Thorn (David); his grandchildren, Pappaw, Jay Thorn (Malloree), Dalton Coggeshall (Samantha), Sheena Frady (Jake) and David Thorn (Ashley); his great grandchildren, James Thorn, Milo Frady and Adaleigh Coggeshall; his siblings, Mike Jarvis (Karen), Bill Jarvis (Gaye), Sandi Ragsdale (Giles), Pam Jarvis, Betty Jarvis and Becky Anderson; and his sister-in-law Sharon Jarvis. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
