He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Grewell and Jessie Grewell (Definbaugh); his former wife Patricia Grewell (Thomas); his sister Janet Shuman (Grewell); and his brother-in-law Terry Shuman.
He is survived by: his wife Edith Grewell (Stewart); his children, Jeffrey Grewell (Lesia) and Deidre Grewell of Parkersburg; his grandchildren, Matt Grewell of Morgantown, WV, Grayson Deem, Kristen Griffin of Parkersburg and Niki Sullivan (Scott) of Myrtle Beach, NC; and his stepchildren, Marsha Anderson (A. J.) of Parkersburg and David Boyter (Caleen) of Vienna. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Parkersburg Humane Society or The Alzheimer's Association (alz.org).
