She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Clarence Jemison and Mildred Wells Jemison; her grandparents, Joseph, Emma Wells, James and Gladys Jemison; her son John M. Smittle (Treva) of Davisville, WV; her niece Joanne Reynolds of Vienna, WV; her sisters, Joan Higgins (Ralph) of St. Mary's, WV and Janice Davis of Glencoe, AL; her husband John E. Smittle; her parents-in-law, John P. and Gertrude Smittle; her brothers, William Jemison and Douglas Rhodes; and her siblings-in-law, Louwannah Jemison, Sara Bogard, Pauline Douglass, Mary Goertler, Bill Davis, Erwin Goertler, Stephen Douglass and Bob Bogard. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Wayside United Methodist Church building fund.
