It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Puryear Lamb of Vienna, West Virginia, born in Huntington, West Virginia, who passed away on October 16, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lamb and Janet Lamb (Puryear); his son Robert Stephen; and his siblings, Richard Lamb and Marguerite Fairbanks.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Elizabeth (Strick); his children, Eric Lamb (Betsy), Elizabeth Nay (Kyle), Philip Lamb (Maria) and Aimee Schmelzer (Mark); and his grandchildren, Alex, Michael, Jared, Justus Lamb, John, Rachel Nay, Juliana, Grace, Lauren, Joseph, Gemma, Peter, Gabriella Lamb, Olivia, Clare, Maximillian, Nicholas, Mark Augustine, Henry, Elena, Catherine and Louis Schmelzer.
