He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Wheaton Mikos (John) and Gregory Warren Wheaton of Coconut Creek, FL; and his grandchildren, Anne Mikos Wynn (Matthew), Chase Wheaton, Cori Wheaton, Carly Wheaton and Laura Mikos.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests a contribution in his name to St. John's United Methodist Church, 3911 Grand Central Avenue, Vienna, WV, 26105.
