She was predeceased by: her parents, David L. Carmichael and Neta Divers Carmichael; and her husband Max Britton. She is survived by: her daughters, Shawn Barr (John) of Vienna and Paula Rackowitz (Mark) of Williamstown; her grandchildren, Matthew, Alexandria Barr, Michelle and Jared Rackowitz; and her sister-in-law Betty Carmichael of Vienna. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
