She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorsey Broadwater and Virgil Cokeley Broadwater; her husband Eugene Mathers; her son Jim Mathers; and her sisters, Ruth and Mary.
She is survived by: her son Jack Mathers (Kim) of Parkersburg; her daughter-in-law Linda Mathers of Walker; and her grandchildren, Noelle Long (Ralph), Shawna Umpleby (Paul), Jason Mathers (Photoola), Alicia Smithberger (Drew) and Eric Mathers (Amanda). She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
