He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Brown and Hattie Mullins Brown; his siblings, Sandra, Eula and Andrew; and his sister-in-law Lydia.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Brown of Vienna; his son Aaron Carden; his siblings, Belinda Bailes (Dellas), Dedra "Dee" Hammond (Daniel), Wallace (Sandy), Norman Brown, II (Belinda) and Vernon Brown; his grandchild Mercy Carden; his brother-in-law Ronald Flanders; and his pets, Honeybear and Freeway. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
