She was predeceased by: her parents, J. Monzel Hughes and Marceline Romine Hughes; and her brother James "Jim" Hughes. She is survived by: her brother John R. Hughes (Roxanna); her nieces, Kari Harris (Anthony), Lora Matheney (Scott), Julie Hughes and Kelli Leary (Ian); her nephew Joe Hughes; and her friend Susan Combs. She is also survived by several great nieces, nephews.
