She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Butcher and Joyce Stephens Butcher; and her brother Terry Butcher. She is survived by: her children, Scott Griffith (Theresa) of Michigan and Sherry Miller of North Carolina; her grandchildren, Alex, Meghan, Andrea and Rachel; her great grandchild Mason; and her siblings, David Butcher of Belpre and Nancy Hickel of Larkmead. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Janet's memory.
