It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Pearl Sams (Vienna, West Virginia), born in Parkersburg, West Virginia, who passed away on December 17, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Nagy and Ruby Reed Nagy Pickens; and her husband Robert E. Sams, Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, Mike Sams (Marie) of Parkersburg, Greg Sams (Connie) of Parkersburg and Steve Sams (Candi) of Parkersburg; and her sisters, Nancy Schofield of Ritchie County, WV and Laura Thompson of Parkersburg. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
