He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert A. Tuttle and Nellie Tuttle (Atkinson); and his siblings, Doug Tuttle, William Tuttle, Mary Nolan, Betty Wallace, Helen Hoce and Irene Starcher.

He is survived by: his wife Ella Rose Tuttle (O'Brien); his children, Amber R. Tuttle of Parkersburg, Lance A. Tuttle (Jennifer Farnsworth) of Parkersburg and Mark A. Tuttle (Cathy Bollinger) of Parkersburg; his sister Sharon Wingrove; his grandchildren, Misha D. and Edward S. Tuttle; and his great grandchildren, Jacob and Bryson.
