We are sad to announce that on May 31, 2021, at the age of 86, Carlan Marie Harper of Victor, West Virginia, born in Winona, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Dana Brown and Fanny Arbella Wood Brown; her husband Harold Q. Harper; and her granddaughters, Carla Ann Harper and Erin Lynn McGraw.
She is survived by: her children, John Rose, Wayne Harper (Debbie) of Victor, James Harper (Renee) of Victor, David Harper (Crystal) of Nettie, Lynn McGraw (Richard) of Victor, Peggy Harper of Victor, Connie Melton of Sutton and Becky Cunningham (Danny) of Pinch; her sister Esther Day of Huron, OH; and her sister-in-law Eileen McKown of Madison, OH. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donation to Hospice of Southern WV, Home-Based Care Team, P.O. Box 1472, Beckley, WV 25802-1472.
