She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow Wilson and Della Carey (Stone); her husband Taylor Meade; her son Kevin Meade; and her brothers, Claude Ray Carey, Paul Carey, Franklin Carey, Joe Carey and Michael Carey.
She is survived by: her daughter Kathy Powers; her sister Sylvia Jean Mullins (Glen); and her grandchildren, Kasey Meade, Sean Powers and Evan Powers. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
