He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Jim" Williamson and Myrtle Williamson (Tomblin); his grandparents, Delilah Mose Williamson, Rhoda and Johnny Tomblin; his daughter Sue Ann Watkins Williamson; his siblings, Arbie Williamson and Rhoda Watkins; and his granddaughter Michelle Williamson.
He is survived by: his wife Meloney Williamson; his children, James Eugene, Joe (Amy), Vernon (Marcy), Michael Williamson (Betty) and Drema Chapman (Mike); his stepchildren, Jeffrey (Kim), Joseph, Jason (Amber), Brandon Marcum (Juanita) and Jennifer Payne (Jimmy); his siblings, Dwayne Williamson (Debbie), Joan Conley (Gill), Rosetta Adkins (Craig) and Della McNeely (Pete); and his close friends, Floyd Ooten, Marvin Tomblin and Kenneth Nelson. He is also survived by thirty seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
