He was predeceased by: his parents, William Browning and Jenethel Browning; his former wife Pamela Browning; and his siblings, James Arnold Browning, Billy Ray Browning, Ernest "Shot" Browning, Kenneth Browning, Katherine Browning and Barbara Sue Hale.
He is survived by: his wife Diana Walls Browning; his daughters, Tonya Marcum, Kimberly Cox (Steve) and Jamie Pickett; his grandchildren, Kaylyn Renee Marcum (John Gazzillo), Lauryn Cox, Braxton Marcum and Jaydan Pickett; his great grandchild Ave Gazzillo; his stepsons, Timothy, Charles and Thomas Chapman; his siblings, Ora Lee Browning (Rhonda), Toni Perdue (Paul), Judy Stemper (Ray), Shirley Tomblin and Naomi Hensley; and his nephew William Clell "Buddy Boy" Browning.
