She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Edmond Howell and Stella Kisner Howell; her husband Maynard Newton Wood; her son Maynard Douglas Wood; and her sisters, Dorothy Hudgins and Peggy Gregory.

She is survived by: her daughter Deborah Wood Demyan (Frank) of Huttonsville; her grandchildren, Timoth "Kip" Matthew (Nicole Armstrong Matthew) of Valley Head, Katelyn Rae Demyan Harris (Alex) of Dallas, TX and Steven Michael Demyan of Knoxville, TN; her great grandchildren, Leila Matthew Lansberry (CJ), Tracey Matthew, Jay Matthew and Lexi Harris; and her great great grandchildren, Bransen, Alivia and Creed Lansberry.

The family has requested memorial contributions be made in Edna's memory to the Valley Head Public Library, PO.
