It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald James Gaus of Valley Grove, West Virginia, born in Wheeling, West Virginia, who passed away on November 10, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard W. Gaus and Anna Rose Gaus (Suter); and his brothers, Infant Tommy Gaus and John "Jack" Gaus (Charlotte Gaus). He is survived by: his wife Susan Gaus (Showalter); his siblings, Bernard G. Gaus (Crystal), Mary Kay Ackerman (Butch) and Ruth Stephan (Craig); his sister-in-law Sally Minter (Walter); and his caregiver Mary Valentino. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
