She was predeceased by: her parents, Talbert Hevener and Sarah Ada Folks Hevener; her husband Don David Gibson; her sons, David Hevener, Eugene Hevener and Henry Gibson; and her siblings, Frankie, Howard, Jerl Hevener, Verlie Conrad, Mae Lindsay, Lou Sage, Pearl "Haze" Hevener and Mary Swecker.
She is survived by: her daughter Norma Jean Mathes (Danny) of New Market, VA; her grandchildren, Missy Mathes Crist of Timberville, VA, Heather Doolan and Daniel Mathes of New Market, VA; her great grandchildren, Michaela and Abigail Crist of Timberville, VA; her sister Shirley Hite of Elyria, OH; her brothers-in-law, Arnold "Hoot" Gibson and Earl Gibson; and her pet Henry.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Randolph Funeral Home and Cremation Services (158 Meadow Ln, Valley Bend, WV 26293). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
