We are sad to announce that on August 15, 2021 we had to say goodbye to George Peyatt of Upperglade, West Virginia, born in Craigsville, West Virginia. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Morgan "Pat" and Flossie Case Peyatt; his wife Anna Belle Hawkins Peyatt; his sons, Tommy Peyatt, Marshall Peyatt and William (Suzie Peyatt); his son-in-law Roger Lloyd; his grandchildren, Robert, Amber, Rachael, Brenda, Patrick and Jessica; his great grandchild Persephone; and his siblings, Bessie Damewood, Roxie Donelson, Gracie Hinkle, Jimmy, Perry and John Peyatt.
He is survived by: his children, Carolyn Ann Lloyd of Upperglade, Tim Peyatt (Bev) of Upperglade, Louise Mullens (Chris) of Cowen, Helen Gray (James "Oz") of Drennen and Roberta Workman (Jeff) of Middlesex, NC; his daughters-in-law, Lynn Dowdle of Craigsville and Patricia Peyatt of Camden; his brothers, Charlie, Joseph "Skip" and Henry Peyatt; and also Hance Peyatt (Rodneyann) of Rocky Mt. He is also survived by 54 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren.
For the safety of everyone all Covid 19 precautions will be taken including temperature checks at the door and requirement of facial coverings.
