He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil O. Kimble and Areba Barger Kimble; his siblings, Ronald Kimble and Marilyn Thorne; and his stepgrandson Devin Alt.
He is survived by: his wife Karen George Kimble; his son Ricky Kimble (Terri); his siblings, Elizabeth Armstrong and Oran "Jim" Kimble (Ella Mae); his brother-in-law Marvin Thorne of Maysville Two; his grandchildren, Meghan Andrade (Benjamin) and Nicholas Kimble; his great grandchildren, Allie, Brayden, Torin, Kandyn, Brynnleigh and Ensley; his stepgrandchildren, Danielle Thompson (Andrew) and Derek Alt (Darice); and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Easton Thompson and Kyleigh Thompson.
