With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Leroy Cook of Upper Tract, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 14, 2025 at the age of 52. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Russell Pennington. He is survived by: his mother Karen Pennington (Cook) of Upper Tract, WV; his wife Tara Ann Cook (Barkley); his children, Kelsey Cook of Upper Tract, WV and Dakota Cook of Upper Tract, WV; his siblings, Rachel Pennington, Rusty Pennington (Christina Arbaugh) of Circleville, WV and Rodney Pennington of Maysville, WV; his parents-in-law, Joyce Helman (Larry) and Kenneth Barkley (Bonnie); his siblings-in-law, Elisha Shreve and Jesse Shreve; his nieces, Sierra Nicole Adamson and Hanna Pennington; his nephew Colton Pennington; his aunts, Doris Jean, Donna, June and Carol Cook; and his uncle Larry. He is also survived by his furry friend/companion, "Rosie"; and numerous cousins.
