He is survived by: his significant other Judy Thayer of Upper Tract; his children, Belinda Miller (Larry) of Charleston, WV, Heather Mowery of Suffolk, VA and James Allen Mowery, Jr. of Virginia; and his sisters, Carol Wilson (Larry) of Charlottesville, VA and Robin Jones (Tom) of Frederick, MD. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
