It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Diana Thompson (Upper Tract, West Virginia), born in Petersburg, West Virginia, who passed away on March 30, 2018, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her spouse Dempsey Thompson; her son Nicholas Thompson; her siblings, Sherri Smith of Harrisonburg and James Turner (Ellen) of Upper Tract, WV; her brother-in-law Bob Boore; her sister Sandra Darlene Boore; and her brother-in-law Dolan Smith. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer that memorials be made to Pendleton Community Bank's Relay for Life Team "Banking On A Cure", P. O. Box 487, Franklin, WV 26807, as her PCBank family strongly supported Diana in her battle against cancer.
