He was predeceased by: his father William Roscoe Caldwell; and his sisters, Donna Sue Caldwell and Donna Frances Hedrick. He is survived by: his mother Agnes Spangler Caldwell of Union, WV; and his sister Nancy Caldwell Cary of Salem, VA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
Allen had been fighting COVID-19 for about a month, and unfortunately, lost his battle.
