It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonard E. Kountz (Union, West Virginia), who passed away on July 31, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. Kountz and Margaret Pritchard Kountz; and his siblings, James Kountz and Claudette Conn (Marvin). He is survived by: his children, Kathryn Oliver (Mark) of Elgin, IL, David Kountz (Debby) of Forest, VA and Rebecca Gorton (Mark) of Hustonville, KY; and his brother Jerry Kountz (Sally) of Supply, NC. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
