He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Roberts and Lenora Blevins Roberts; his wife Janice Belcher Roberts; his grandsons, Jason Walker and Cody Roberts; and his siblings, Elijah, Elisha, Edward, Ezra Roberts and Eunice Stimson.
He is survived by: his children, Howard Walker (Barbara) of Princeton, WV, Charles Walker (Margo) of Princeton, WV, Larry Roberts (Sabrina) of Woodlawn, VA, Ronald Roberts (Tammy) of Walnut Cove, NC, Jerry Roberts (Shelley) of Thomasville, NC, Leona Long (Ted) of Union, WV and Carol Brown (Cliff) of Aberdeen, NC; his siblings, Dalton Roberts (Rita) of Narrows, VA, Inez Owens (Everette) of Indianapolis, IN and Annie Gibson (Donald) of Galax, VA; his close friends, Doug and Vickie Ratliff of Union, WV; and his pet Macie. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Due to the regulations associated with COVID-19, those attending the visitation and funeral services are asked to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that bird feed be donated in Lawrence's memory to the Springfield Center (10757 Seneca Trail South, Lindside, WV 24951).
