With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Edward Pitzer (Union, West Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 25, 2025 at the age of 61. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Pitzer and Allie Marie Ford Pitzer; his wife Delores Ann Dixon Pitzer; and his siblings, Larry, David, Gary Pitzer and Rose Pitzer.
He is survived by: his children, Sarah Pitzer of Beckley, WV and Danny Pitzer (Savannah) of Gap Mills, WV; his granddaughter Aubrey Pitzer; and his siblings, Robert Pitzer of Gap Mills, WV, Herman Pitzer (Tammy) of Frankford, WV, Susan Mines of Gap Mills and Ruth Lewis (Brian) of Union, WV. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Groves-Mann Funeral Home (715 Sweet Springs Valley Rd, Union, WV 24983). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
